Stella-Jones has resumed logging on a block at the bottom of Frisby and Boulder. Please respect the temporary closures which should last about 3 weeks (approx May 20). They have flagged off the entrances and exits of the affected mountain bike and dirt bike trails and posted "Trail Closed, Do Not Enter, Active Logging" signs. BCTS will be holding an open house in the MacPherson Room at the Community Center on Wednesday, October 7th from 12:00pm until 8:00pm. The open house will give the public the opportunity to view the final cut-block design for the 2016 logging planned for the Mt. Macpherson area. The attached map reflects the proposed cut block and may differ from the final cut block design that will be presented on October 7th.

Stella-Jones has informed the RCA that harvesting operations on Boulder Mountain have commenced to remove blowdown and beetle infested trees. The logging will continue for about 2 weeks until the end of July. Cyclists should stay away from any active logging, and be aware that there will be logging truck traffic on the Jordan and Boulder Roads.
