Benefits of Membership* (read the 2017 Membership Letter)

  1. The RCA can build and maintain more trails which makes for more fun for everyone.

  2. Receive discounts at local bike shops when you show your personal membership. It won’t take long for your membership to pay for itself with discounts at the bike shops!

  3. A strong membership lends the RCA credibility which helps to obtain grants, protect our trail network, mobilize volunteers, and build more trails.

  4. Members receive RCA newsletters about the local cycling scene.

  5. Receive a vote at the RCA’s Annual General Meeting.

  6. Participate in RCA organized trail maintenance events or volunteer at club events.

2017 Membership Fees (unchanged from 2016)

$30 – Adult (individual)

$15 – Youth (under 19)

$80 – Family (2 adults and 2+ youth)

$150 – Corporate Sponsorship*

*Corporate Sponsorship is a donation to the club with the reciprocal benefit of advertising on the RCA website and Facebook but does not entitle individuals or the corporation to a vote, discounts, or entry into races.

RCA general members who wish to participate in club rides or club races must be insured by purchasing an additional club/affiliate membership through Cycling BC.

Join the Revelstoke Cycling Association by following these instructions:

  1. Follow online registration instructions

  2. Wait for RCA membership card in mail.  While you wait, ride bike!

Zone4 will charge a small processing fee in addition to the cost of your membership

Additional Notes

Memberships may be purchased by cash or cheque at membership drives. Memberships must be bought in person, with the exception of purchases for family members.

Out of Town Riders – BC residents who hold a Citizen or UCI license may occasionally participate in club events, restrictions and fees may apply. Riders from out of province must obtain inter-provincial insurance coverage from their home province cycling organization (ie. a UCI license)

Age Restrictions – Riders of any age may join the club and obtain a CyclingBC license.  For downhill events riders must be minimum age 13

Volunteers – If you wish to contribute as a volunteer only, you do not need to join the club or CyclingBC. As a volunteer for sanctioned events such as club races and trail maintenance days you will receive the same liability and injury insurance as a club members

InsuranceClub members participating in events/races with valid CyclingBC licenses are covered by CyclingBC’s insurance plan. Click here to see CyclingBC’s complete information. Members participating in RCA sanctioned trail maintenance are covered by the clubs insurance.
