Arrow Heli – XC Fiver Series – Race # 1 Recap

The first Arrow Helicopters XC Fiver of the season is in the books!  Thanks to the 21 racers and 5 volunteers who participated. The weather was a little unsettled and though the clouds moved in, racers were only subject to some light drizzle during the race.  It was great to see a mix of old and new faces last night. First XC Race of the season!

Spring has taken its sweet time getting here but the valley bottom trails are finally snow free. This means that it is time to get your bike legs in shape for summer riding! If you want to get faster on the bike sometimes you have to push yourself a little beyond your comfort zone… and there is no better motivation for doing that then taking part in the first Arrow Helicopters Fiver XC Race this Wednesday night!

Bikes, Buds, Beers (& getting involved!)

The Revelstoke Cycling Association would like to invite you to our social gathering this Thursday January 19th, starting at 7pm at the River City Pub. Come out to discuss our plans, share your own ideas, sign up for one of our volunteer committees, or purchase your 2017 RCA membership! This will be the first of many socials where we can all get together to get involved and make biking in Revelstoke the best it can be!

Drinks and snacks will be available to order, we’ll be playing some awesome bike movies and we’ll be announcing and awarding the winners of the DH toonie series!

Do you have ideas and input on how the Revelstoke Cycling Association can continue to move forward?

If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, we need you to join the Revelstoke Cycling Association Board of Directors! Come to the RCA AGM on November 23rd at the Revelstoke Community Centre – 7pm!

This year there are 6 board positions up for grabs: VP/Secretary, Events, and Four (4) Trail Related Positions for a new “Trails Committee” (division of labour TBD):
-Operations
-Planning
-Frisby Ridge

We encourage all RCA members to attend this event and vote on who your directors will be for the 2016 season. Non-members can observe the meeting but cannot vote.
