Catherine Pendrel outshines all at second XC race

The second race of the Arrow Helicopters XC series was a humbling affair for our local racers as pro mountain biker Catherine Pendrel took part and handily outpaced the field. Great to have such a high calibre athlete taking part! Emily Unterberger and Kelsey Furk placed second and third respectively in the women's field. Catherine's husband Keith Wilson took first place in the men's field just ahead of Brendan Macintosh and Kellen Viznaugh. The great weather brought an excellent turnout of 38 riders. Thanks to our big group of volunteers - Laurel, Courtney, Keith and Terry - for help with the timing. Results are now available here. Please note that the third race in the series has been rescheduled and will take place on July 3rd which is one week earlier than initially planned. Details about the course will be posted two weeks prior to the race.
