Frisby Ridge opens on July 15!

The day has arrived - Frisby Ridge opens for the season tomorrow, July 15. The RCA thanks everyone for respecting the caribou closure and staying off the trail until now.A fire crew went up the trail last week to clear out downed trees and by all reports, the trail is in great shape until the first high point. As you can tell by the above picture, there are still mud and snow patches across the top. We don't know what things are like heading down to the lake and along the extension, but we suspect there's more snow heading to the lake because of it's north aspect. If you come across a snowy or muddy spot, walk your bike through it. DO NOT RIDE AROUND IT! Stay on the trail to protect this sensitive alpine environment. It will take another two weeks or so for it to fully dry out, so have patience and enjoy what you can for now.Thank you for respecting the trail and have fun!
