Is your costume ready? PhantomFest is coming up soon!

Time to start planning your costume because Phantom Fest is back for another year!When: 10:00am - 1:00pm Saturday October 25th, 2014Where: Macpherson Nordic Lodge What: This event will start with a poker ride between 10am and noon. After registering at the Nordic lodge and receiving their first card riders will go out and find at least three other cards that will be placed in various spots on the MacPherson trail network. Upon return to the lodge riders will receive their last card. The best five card hand will win a prize.Costumes are encouraged and the best costume will also win a prize. After the completion of the ride refreshments will be served. At 12:30 we will be presenting some awards including Rider of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. This will also be our chance to recognize the winners of the Arrow Helicopters XC race series. The top three riders win a portion of the Twoonie prize pot - the remainder of the prize pot will be awarded by random draw. We will be drawing for the winners of the 112 Restaurant road racing series Twoonie pot as well.Phantom Fest is also your last chance to get your name in the draw for the year end prize pool. These prizes include cat skiing at RMR, Flowt gift certificates courtesy of Bob Dickson Carpentry,  Woolsey Creek Bistro gift certificates, an Outdoor Research prize package, and a 2 night stay at Sol Mountain. We will be awarding these prizes at Phantom Fest. You do not need to be present to win any of drawn prizes however your chances improve if you join us for this event!Here are a few ideas...
