Last chance for XC racing!

The fourth and final Arrow Helicopters XC Fiver Race is on August 2nd.This course truly is a cross country challenge as it takes you on a traverse north via Stimulus and Black Forest before dropping you into some old school tech on Break a Leg, Root Canal and Richard Liqueur. There are no long climbs on this course but the challenge will be maintaining speed through long sections of uninterrupted rolling single track. After mentally stimulating racers last time with a novel format we are back to the standard two lap format for this event.Don’t forget that Arrow Helicopters is offering $20 off a helicopter drop this summer to anyone who takes part in at least two XC Fiver races. Not only do you get a discount on your lift up to Cartier or Joss, but Arrow will also kick in a $20 donation to the RCA per rider who takes advantage of this offer. If you’ve been out to one event already and are thinking of alpine adventures this is your last chance to qualify for the discount! For those that haven’t heard racers do not need to purchase Cycling BC Insurance this season. Race entry is now $5 (hence the “Fiver” name) though you do need to be an RCA member to race. RCA membership can be purchased online or at race registration.Registration for the fourth race is located in the Nordic Lodge parking lot. Registration is between 6:15 and 6:45 pm while the race starts at 7:00pm. Feel free to re-use your number plate from previous races. More specific race info available HERE. Hope to see you all out on Wednesday Night!XC Race #4 2017 Map
