RCA Trail Crew is Hiring

The RCA is hiring Trail Maintenance Crew Members!

Full Time, Seasonal 

Start Date: ASAP End Date: October 27, 2022 ● 40 hours per week, typically Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day 

Job Description: 

The successful candidate will be a trail crew member on our three-person paid trail maintenance crew, which is responsible for regular maintenance and upkeep of the trails at Mt. Macpherson, Boulder, Frisby Ridge, and Sunnyside. 

Training will be provided. Previous trail building/maintenance experience is an asset but not required. Tools will be provided. The successful candidate must provide their own safety boots and work gloves. Transportation will be provided. 

Qualifications: 

● Must be able to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment in all weather conditions

● Willingness to learn and follow directions 

● Must work well as part of a team as well as individually 

● Must have a keen interest in outdoor activities, particularly in mountain biking

● Must be able to use simple hand tools for trail maintenance purposes 

● OFA Level 1 First Aid Certification an asset 

Wage: Depends on experience
