Road Toonie #4

This week's RCA road race, sponsored by the 112 Restaurant, is the ski hill circuit race. See details of the race below. We hope to see lots of you on Wednesday for the last road race of the 2016 Wednesday night series.

Where: Start is at the ski hill car park on Cammozi Road. Finish will be at the end of the pavement on the road that climbs past the ski hill car parks going towards the day lodge.

Cost: $2 for RCA members, $10 for non-members holding a Cycling BC race license. You must have a Cycling BC license to race. Please bring proof of Cycling BC membership (either membership card or email receipt) to the race.

Course: The race will consist of at least five laps (approx 8km each) from the ski hill car park south on Camozzi, down the hill to Westerburg Road, right on to Airport Way, right on to Nichol Road and then right on Camozzi Road back to the start. On the final lap there will be a left turn to climb the hill towards the day lodge to the finish line. There will be an option with less laps for those wanting a shorter race.

After the race on Wednesday evening the RCA Road Committee will be hosting a BBQ at Mason Road. All riders, volunteers and spectators are invited.Road Racing returns on the first weekend in August with the last Twoonie race on the afternoon of Saturday 6th August followed by the Mt Revelstoke Steamer on Sunday 7th August (register here).
