Trail Maintenance Event - Volunteer This Saturday, May 30th.
The next trail maintenance session is taking place this Saturday, May 30th at 5PM. Bridge work will be the focus of this session.
The main bridge we plan on working on is a rebuild of the bridge at the bottom of River Run. Meet at 5PM at the junction of Clough Road and Mount Begbie road. From there we will divide up the necessary wood and supplies and head to the work site. The RCA will supply the materials. It would be great if people could bring cordless drills with a robertson bit for putting in the decking screws. Bringing a large backpack would help with taking the pre-cut decking pieces down to the site.If we have enough volunteers we may also look at replacing the 2 old bridges on Root Canal as well as the finishing bridge for Richard Liquor.If you have any question please contact Mike Welch: mhwelch9@telus.net
