XC Race #6 This Week - Wed. Sept. 17

The sixth race of the Arrow Helicopters XC race series is scheduled for Wednesday September 17th! Although this is the final race that will count towards the series standings we are planning to hold one more fun XC event (with series prizing given out) on October 1st.XC racing in September is a brand new feature of the Arrow Helicopters XC series. With a start time of 7 pm you will require headlamps for the race. Make sure you test your set up out beforehand and carry a small spare light just in case! Hopefully this will add a new wrinkle to the racing – if you have never tried it racing at night is a cool experience. The planned course will take us on the trails below the highway including Sex on the Beach, Hemlock Groove and Yew R Here. With the currently forecast dry weather some of the rooty trails on this course will be a little more racer friendly!
