2024 Memberships Available

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and is enjoying the New Year. We’re a little alarmed at the lack of snow so far this winter, but it does mean we’ll hopefully be biking sooner than later.

For 2024, we’re changing to a new membership system. We’ve adopted Hivepass, an app specifically designed for mountain bike clubs. Registration is simple and there’s some great features that will benefit our members: 

• A digital membership card that can be stored on your smartphone.

• Easy access to member benefits through our sponsors.

• A news feed embedded in the app.

• Information on RCA trails.

Membership Fee Increases

RCA membership fees will be increasing in 2024 for the first time since 2018. Like everyone, we are not immune to the pressures of inflation. Over the past few years we’ve had to significantly raise our trail crew wages, building new trails is more expensive, and all our ancillary costs have gone up.

In order to keep up with rising costs and meet our goal of having sustainable funding and being less reliant on grants, the following membership fees will apply in 2024:

• Adult: $50

• Adult carbon: $100

• Youth (17 & under): $15

• Family: $100 (2 adults and 2 youth)

• Family carbon: $200 (2 adults and 2 youth)

• Visitor: $10 (valid for one week)

It must be noted that with Hivepass, the extra fees and taxes that were added by our previous provider (CCN) are now included in the price. This means extra costs for us, but no surprises when registering for our members. The price you see upfront is the price you’ll pay.
