Friday Trail Report: April 25
Here's our trail report for April 25:
After taking Monday off to enjoy closing day at RMR, our trail got back to work opening up our trails this week.
Sunnyside is great shape, though Haulin' Daze is getting a little beat up from early-season traffic.
Lower Macpherson is fully open. Please be aware of falling trees on Yew R Here when it gets windy. The logging has opened up the forest and we heard a few scary stories from a recent event.
Upper Macpherson is almost entirely snow free, with the exception of upper Flowdown and sections of Ridge Walk and south Black Forest. Most tree have been cleared thanks to our trail crew and helpful volunteers. The exception is Flowdown above the cut block.
Boulder is snow free below the 5K junction. Our crew hit up Man Quads earlier this week to remove trees and do drainage work. Dig Day put some fresh berms on Gravy Bacon on Tuesday. Please note the road remains closed to vehicles.
Thank you to everyone who has helped open trails and provided conditions reports. If you've got conditions to report, post in the comments or let us know via our Trail Conditions page at www.bikerevelstoke.org/conditions.
Donβt forget about our upcoming Dig Days:
Saturday, April 26, at 9 am at Sunnyside
Tuesday, April 29, at 5:30 pm at Boulder
