Friday Trail Report: April 18
Here's our trail report for Friday, April 18:
Our trail crew started up on Monday and they were busy raking trails and removing downed trees this week. They were able to tackle Lower Macpherson, Lower Boulder, and parts of Upper Macpherson. We'd also like to thank BC Wildfire crews and our volunteers for helping out.
Sunnyside is in a great shape, with a few wet sections. The jumps just below the junction have been fixed up thanks to the April 15 Dig Day crew.
Lower Macpherson is fully open to the top of Lookout.
On Upper Macpherson, Tantrum, most of Flowdown, Serenity Now, Lower Buff Enuff, Leap Frog, and most of Toad School are snow-free and clear of trees. We received a report of downed trees on Root Canal and Break-a-Leg.
On Boulder, our crew cleared all trees on Sisyphus, Boondocker, Tall Timber, and Logging Leftovers. Above that, the roads are still snow-covered but the forests are melting out. Note that the Jordan FSR up Boulder is currently closed to motorized vehicles. To access the trails, park at the snowmobile club parking lot and pedal from there. No shuttling is allowed until the road re-opens.
If you've got conditions to report, post in the comments or let us know via our Trail Conditions page at www.bikerevelstoke.org/conditions.
