DH Race #1 Results & DH Race #2 Logging Leftovers

On a scorcher day with primo trail conditions, the TNT Chainless race went in the books.  This was the first race in the RCA DH Toonie Series presented by FLOWT Bikes & Skis and we had a great turnout with over 30 riders showing up to put in a time.  The women's race was won by Amanda MacIntosh who rocketed down the course finishing with a hot time of 5:22.62.  On the men's side of things it was Dominique Unterberger who surprised only himself by taking the victory with a steamy time 4:20.03.  Congratulations to all the riders who came out to ride and a massive thanks goes to all our volunteers who did an amazing job out there.  Thanks as well to our prize sponsors Stoke Roasted, FLOWT and Transition Bikes for their generosity in sweetening the pot.2016 Series StandingsWe are keeping things rolling with the second race in the RCA DH Toonie Series presented by FLOWT Bikes and Skis coming right up this Sunday, June 12th.  The course is Loggin' Leftovers and be sure times will be close as the rivalries start forming and the series really heats up.  Registration will be in the Boulder parking lot from 11:00 - 11:30 am and don't forget: RCA membership, Cycling BC insurance and a toonie.  Let's hope for another great turnout and tell your friends to get out there as well.  If anyone is keen to help please send an email to Andrew at andrewclark123@hotmail.com and be sure to check out the RCA website for more information and current series standings.
