Bringing Back The Mount Mac Challenge!

The RCA is pleased to announce that we are bringing back the Mt Mac Challenge on June 25th, 2016. The original event was a XC race hosted by the RCA from 1996 to 2003. Initially it was hosted at MacPherson and later at Mt Mackenzie. A lot has changed in the Revelstoke mountain biking landscape since the first race in 1996.Highlights of that racecourse included the Ridgewalk trail and whole lot of double track. These days we’ve got 50km of purpose built single track available to choose from at MacPherson (and more being built every year). We invite you to check out some of the highlights on the new Mt Mac Challenge course – we know you’ll love the trails!This season the Mt Mac Challenge will be a “double toonie”. Entry will be cheap, and the event will be grassroots with minimal bells and whistles. As a bonus for RCA members who have not paid for Cycling BC club insurance this race will allow for purchase of single event insurance.
