DH Race #2 Results

Conditions were mint, the rain held off and Loggin' Leftovers was the scene for the second race in RCA DH Toonie Series presented by FLOWT Bikes & Skis.  We had another great turnout with 34 riders showing up to put their cornering skills and powerline mashability to the test.  Kate Devine put down the fastest time of the day for the women crossing the line in a mere 3:49.93.   Stephanie Noel was edged out by just over 3 seconds and with her strong second place finish, she has jumped into the lead in the overall series standings for 2016 and is now the one being chased.  On the men's side it was Dominique Unterberger laying one down for the second week in a row winning with a crushing time of 3:02.37.  In definitely one of the closest finishes we've ever seen, Nathan Jecks narrowly missed out by only .04 sec to finish a strong second and will surely be looking for redemption.  Thanks so much to our prize sponsors Stoke Roasted, FLOWT and Transition Bikes and to our amazing volunteers who keep everything running smooth.  Hope to see you all out Sunday, July 10th as the series continues with Boondocker/Gravy Bacon.2016 Series Standings
