E-Biking at Macpherson

E-biking is now allowed on all of the RCA managed bike trails at the Macpherson trail network. This applies to Class 1 (pedal assist) e-bikes only - all other motorized forms of recreation continue to be prohibited on these trails. The decision to open these trails to e-bike users is based on the feedback from our survey to members last year.In order to ensure the safety of all trail users in response to a new user group, we ask that all trail users to become familiarized with our Rider Code of Conduct. Every trail user has a responsibility to recreate in a manner that is safe, considerate, and respectful of others so that we can all enjoy these trails in our own different ways. It's also easy to sometimes forget the specifics of these guidelines, and we encourage you to politely educate others who may be unaware of the Code of Conduct.
