RCA Races

RCA races are back for this season!

We are running a full slate of races this year:

  • Iron Horse XC

  • Toonie DH Series

  • Tantrum Enduro Series

Requirements For Racing:

  1. Current RCA Membership ($50 each year)

  2. Entry fee ($2-5 per race)

  3. A signed waiver – please read this in advance of attending and sign at registration.

Iron Horse XC

The Iron Horse is a grassroots cross-country mountain bike race designed to bring the riding community together! It will take place on Sunday, June 14. Get more information here.

Tantrum Summer Enduro Series

We’re running four enduro races this summer in partnership with Tantrum Ride Co. Courses will be announced two days before the race.

  • When: June 3, June 17, August 26, and September 9. Registration will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

  • Where: The first two races are at Macpherson, and the last two at Boulder. The stages will be announced the Monday before race day.

  • How much: $5. RCA membership required.

Schedule:

  • Wednesday, June 3, Mount Macpherson

    • Registration at Griffith Creek Parking, Mount Macpherson, from 5:30-6:30 pm.

    • Stages: Dusty Beaver/Beaver Tail, Break-a-Leg, and Toad School/Buff Enuff.

Toonie DH Series

We’re partnering with Luke Stevens and Specialized to run a downhill race series every Wednesday in May. Entry is $2 per lap, with all the toonies going into the price purse for the series.

  • When: May 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

  • Where: Register under the powerlines on Boulder. Race course to be announced Monday before race day.

  • How much: $2 per lap. RCA membership required.

Results:

May 6 - Logging Leftovers

May 13 - Lower Boondocker

May 20 - Gravy Bacon

May 27 - Upper Boondocker

Volunteers

We need volunteers to make this series a success! Positions include racer registration, course marking, set up and tear down, course marshals, tail end charlie, and first aid attendants. If you are interested in helping please contact: events@bikerevelstoke.org
