Sisyphus’ Revenge: Boulder Climb Trail Opening Party

The Revelstoke Cycling Association is holding the grand opening of Sisypus, the new climb trail on Boulder Mountain, this Sunday, June 9. The trail is a culmination of a decade of vision, planning, and construction, by the dedicated board, staff, and contractors of the RCA. Phase 1 was built in 2023 and provides access to the Lower Boulder trails through a beautiful old-growth forest. Phase 2 will be built this fall.

Details are as follows:

What: A celebration of mountain biking in Revelstoke and the newest major addition to our trail network.

When: Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Ceremony at noon, followed by a group ride up the trail.

(Note: You must park at the Boulder snowmobile parking lot and ride to the party.)

Who: The RCA will be joined by representatives from local First Nations. Local bike shops Skookum, Cycle Logic, Tantrum, and Wandering Wheels, will be on site offering demos. The Lucky Pup will be serving banh mis.

The RCA acknowledges and honours the four nations on whose traditional land we gather: the Sinixt, the Secwepemc, the Syilx, and the Ktunaxa.
