Final Toonie DH Race - Frisby Frigid Fingers

The time is approaching for the finale! The 5th and final round of the Revelstoke Cycling Association Downhill Toonie series presented by Flowt Bikes is next Sunday, Oct 16th. This of course is the annual Frigid Fingers Frisbee DH race. After the race there will be awards and draw prizes for racers and volunteers (including the return of Stoke Roasted coffee as a draw prize). The series overall cash prizes will be awarded, and there will be a bonfire and weenie roast.

But first, we must race! The course on Frisbee presents a unique challenge, if you go super fast at the top, will you be too tired to go fast at the bottom? Does slow and steady win the race? You might have a slip up, but on a course this long, other racers will likely slip up as well. Come on out and bring your approach, for fast or for fun:)
Registration will be in the Frisbee DH pickup parking lot from 11:00-11:30 AM. If you already have an RCA membership and Cycling BC insurance, entry fee is a toonie, non-members fee is $10 and one-day race insurance is available for $10. This was our most well attended race last year, and we're looking forward to seeing lots of people out again. Lots of volunteers will be needed, so get in touch with Dan at flowtbikesandskis@gmail.com if you are interested in helping and getting yourself a draw prize ticket!
